How Our Network Works

Who you talk to

You will talk to an independent provider, not a Vietnamaware Plumbing employee with a toolbox. We are a referral service. Providers in our network run their own businesses, set their own prices and do their own work. Our job is to help you reach them.

What happens on the first call

Expect a few simple questions. What is happening? Where in the home is it? Is water still running? Can you reach the shut-off valve? Have you noticed odd smells, gurgling or stains?

Have your photos and notes nearby. They save time. The provider can picture the problem and tell you what the next step might be. Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies, so ask plainly when they can come.

Request a callback to check provider availability.

What to ask a provider

It is fine to ask questions. A good provider will not mind. Try these:

  • Are you licensed and insured for this kind of work where I live?
  • Will you give me a written quote before you start?
  • What is included, and what could change the price?
  • Is there a fee just to look at the problem?
  • Will you take photos of what you find?
  • Can you help document the damage for a claim?

Typical U.S. costs vary a lot by job. A simple drain clear may run a few hundred dollars, while a sewer line repair can reach several thousand. Access, pipe depth, materials and permits all push the number up or down. That is why a written quote matters. Get it in writing.

You are in control

You can ask for more than one opinion. You can say no. You can ask the provider to explain a step again. Nothing about a referral locks you in, and there is no obligation to hire anyone you speak with.

Keep your own notes too. Write the provider name, what they said, the time and any price they mention. If the story changes later, your notes help.
